How to uninstall comma 3X software
Remove the software from your comma 3X and return it to its first setup screen. It takes six taps and one reboot.
Turn the engine off firstThe Uninstall button is grayed out while the engine is running. Turn off your car before starting these steps.
On the device
Six steps
Open Settings
Tap the gear icon at the top left of the home screen.
Open Software
Tap the Software section.
Find Uninstall
Scroll down to the Uninstall button. If it is grayed out, turn off your car first.
Confirm
Tap Uninstall when the device asks you to confirm.
Wait for the reboot
The device restarts and removes the software.
Start fresh
The device returns to its first setup screen. You can now install other software.
