Updated
What May Differ vs C3/C3X
Some newer features can be C3/C3X-only because of hardware requirements. C2 can still be very usable, but newer capabilities may be limited.
Hardware Comparison Callout
comma 3/3X has stronger processing hardware, newer camera stack, and better GPS performance than comma 2. If your C2 is working well with dragonpilot, that is still a good setup. Upgrading to a 3X gives you broader feature access and stronger long-term support coverage.
C2 Install Steps
1
Factory reset and remove previous software first.
2
Power on comma 2 and open the Choose Software screen.
3
Select Custom Software and enter: smiskol.com/fork/dp/deprecated-beta3.
4
Finish setup prompts and let the device reboot.
