How to Uninstall Comma 3X Software

How to fully uninstall software from your comma 3X device and return it to factory state.

Make Sure Your Engine Is Off

The Uninstall button will be grayed out if your engine is running. Turn off your car before starting these steps.

Steps

Click the settings icon (gear icon, top-left of the homescreen).

Click "Software".

Scroll down to "Uninstall..." — if the button is grayed out, turn off your car first.

Click "Uninstall" when prompted.

The device will reboot and uninstall the software.

Once finished, the device returns to its initial state — you can now install other software through setup.
