How to Remove Comma Dashcam Software

Step-by-step instructions to uninstall dashcam software from your comma device and return it to a fresh state.

Steps

Step 1

Click the settings icon (gear icon, top-left of the homescreen).

Step 2

Click "Developer" on the right side (it will say "Dashcam vX.X.X").

Step 3

Scroll down to "Uninstall Dashcam".

Note: If the button is grayed out, turn off your car first.

Step 4

Click "Uninstall" when prompted.

Step 5

The device will reboot and uninstall the dashcam software.

Step 6

Once finished, the device returns to its initial state — you can now install other software.
