What can you do with sunnylink?
Change available settings
Use your phone’s screen to explore the controls supplied by your device’s software. Settings can include display preferences and more advanced driving options; availability varies by build and car.

The project documents device status, driving-model selection, settings backups and migration. A model or setting appearing in an app does not establish compatibility with every car or device.

Connect your comma, step by step
- Start with the car parked. Power the comma and connect it to the internet. Open your software’s sunnylink settings and follow its registration or linking prompts.
- Open the official app. Visit sunnylink.ai on your phone or computer and follow the sign-in flow there.
- Link and select the right device. Follow the current app’s pairing prompts. Check the device identity and online status before editing; exact linking screens can vary by software version.
- Start with something you understand. A display-units setting is a useful first example. Read the setting description, change one value, and check the sync result.
- Confirm on your comma. Check that the intended value reached the device. Follow any parked-state, restart or other requirement shown for that specific setting.
Remote settings are still real settings. Make changes while parked and review them before driving.
Put sunnylink on your Home Screen
A Home Screen icon lets you reopen the web app without typing its address. Sign-in and the device’s connection still matter.
iPhone · Safari
- Open the official sunnylink website in Safari.
- Open the Share menu. Depending on your Safari layout, open More first.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. Scroll the share options if needed.
- If offered, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
Apple’s current instructionsAndroid · Chrome
- Open the official sunnylink website in Chrome.
- Open the three-dot menu.
- Choose Add to home screen, then Install if offered.
- Follow the prompt. Some browser/site combinations offer a shortcut instead.
Google’s current instructionsMenu wording varies by phone and browser version. A Home Screen icon alone does not guarantee offline operation, notifications or the same features as a native app. These phone-installation steps have not been tested against an authenticated sunnylink account.
If something does not look right
- The comma is missing or offline
- Check its power and internet connection, then confirm you signed in to the account linked to that device. A cached screen is not a live connection.
- A setting is missing or unavailable
- Your software, device, car or operating state may not expose that control. Do not assume a screenshot or another owner’s menu applies to your build.
- The switch changed, but the comma did not
- Check whether the change is pending, failed or waiting for a required device state. Older layouts can require Push to Device; current schema-based controls queue changes automatically.
