First setting to understand

Use Metric System

Show speed in kilometres per hour (km/h) instead of miles per hour (mph).

Choose the units you normally read on your road signs. Switching the display does not mean the car suddenly speeds up: 60 mph and about 97 km/h describe the same speed.

Where to find it: The reviewed Zoompilot settings place this under Toggles. The older sunnylink interface calls it Metric Units under Device. Your software supplies the available controls, so names and locations can differ.
How to confirm it: Check the app’s sync result, then check the units shown on your comma. A changed switch in a browser is not, by itself, confirmation that a device received it.
Source scope: The sunnylink setting key is IsMetric. In the reviewed Zoompilot source, the device reads this value and the driving display uses it to choose mph or km/h. This explains that specific display behavior; it is not a claim that every setting applies instantly or works on every software version.

Does sunnylink save changes automatically?

Current schema-based screens

For an online device, the reviewed frontend updates the displayed value and groups changes into a batch after a short pause. The inspected code uses a four-second delay. A success indicator can appear before device confirmation; check the device because the app can later report a conflict or failure.

When offline, it queues the change for later. A pending queue is an intention to send, not a receipt from the comma.

Older settings screens

The older control path stages edits and shows a Push to Device action. Review the changes and use that action if your screen presents it. Do not look for a Save button solely because an old screenshot shows one.

Use the workflow your actual device and app present.

What do the status messages mean?

Online: The app has a connection-status result for the device. It is still worth checking the result of each change.
Pending or queued: Your edit is waiting to be sent or completed. Connectivity and device-state requirements can affect delivery.
Changed on device or conflict: A value may have changed elsewhere since the browser last read it. Review both values before deciding which one to keep; avoid repeatedly clicking the control.
Received or successful: The app can show success before confirming the device value. A later conflict or failure can change that result. Confirm the intended behavior on the device and follow any per-setting application instructions.

Why are my settings different?

The current interface can build its menus from a schema supplied for the selected device. Your fork, software revision, vehicle and available controls matter. Older devices can use the frontend’s earlier settings definitions instead. That is why the same units setting can appear under Toggles on one layout and Device on another.

Model selection, steering and speed controls deserve their own exact-car and exact-software checks. A remote dashboard makes a setting easier to reach; it does not establish compatibility or make a driving change safe to copy from someone else.
