Install FrogPilot

Use the main FrogPilot installer on comma 3X or comma three, then finish setup while parked.

Get the installer
Start with stableFrogPilot separates its main release from unfinished test versions. This guide keeps the unfinished versions out of the normal installation path.

On-device setup

Three installation steps

    Park and connect to Wi-Fi

    Keep the car parked and the comma device powered. If other software is installed, follow its uninstall or reset flow first.

    Choose Custom Software

    When the comma setup screen appears, select Custom Software instead of the normal openpilot option.

  3. 3

    Enter the stable installer

    Copy the value above, enter it exactly on the comma screen, and follow the on-screen installation steps.

Before driving

  • Confirm the screen shows FrogPilot and the main FrogPilot branch.
  • Check your exact car, year, trim, driver-assistance package, and harness.
  • Review FrogPilot's settings and keep the driver-assistance limits in mind.
