Residential: compare what your address offers
The 100 and 200 Mbps plans are available only in select areas. A plan’s speed cap is not a promise that every download reaches that speed. Check your address for the offered equipment, price, taxes, shipping and any commitment.
- Residential 100 Mbps: $55/month; published download cap of 100 Mbps.
- Residential 200 Mbps: $85/month; published download cap of 200 Mbps.
- Residential Max: $130/month; Starlink describes maximum available speeds and its top Residential network priority.
Roam: choose by how much you use on trips
The published 100GB and 300GB plans include their named high-speed allowance, followed by unlimited low-speed data. That fallback is not a promise of the same experience after the allowance runs out.
Roam advertises in-motion use and Standby Mode. Check the current country, hardware and plan restrictions before a trip. Standby has a monthly fee; do not budget it as a free pause.

Compare the complete cost, not just the monthly number
First payment
Add the kit or rental offer, shipping, tax and any installation accessories shown in checkout.
Vehicle or portable extras
Price the mount, appropriate power adapter or battery, and the cable you actually need.
Ongoing service
Multiply the plan charge by the months you expect to use it. Include standby charges for idle months if applicable.
Offer conditions
Read any hardware subsidy, commitment or plan-change conditions before accepting the order.
Where the free month fits
Starlink’s current referral explanation gives the referred customer one month of service applied to the second month of an eligible Residential or Roam signup. Treat that as a service benefit, not free hardware or an automatically waived first bill.

Does Roam 100GB stop completely at 100GB?
The checked US plans page describes unlimited low-speed data after the high-speed allowance. Check the current plan terms before relying on that fallback.
Is the cheapest plan always best?
Compare your location, intended use, data needs and total equipment cost. A cheaper plan that does not support your trip or workload is not the better purchase.
