BluePilot is Ford-focused community software for comma. It adds lane-centering options beyond the stock openpilot list, including the 2022 Edge and 2022–2025 F-150 Lightning. Start with your exact vehicle and the right connection kit.
There is no verified public BluePilot setup for the 2025 gas or hybrid truck. BluePilot lists TRON authentication on the 2024-and-newer F-150, and its current Ford interface rejects that system for driver assistance.
Check the supported 2021–2023 F-150The electric truck is a separate platform. Community setups cover the 2022–2025 Lightning with Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0, a Ford Q4 kit and a Lightning-specific coupler. A 2025 Lightning result does not establish support for a 2025 gas F-150.
Lightning parts and installationCAN-FD is a communication format; it does not by itself mean the vehicle uses TRON. Check the exact model and year in BluePilot’s compatibility guidance and the Ford interface’s TRON check.
BluePilot has demonstrated steering-rack control on a test bench using a torque interceptor. This hardware research works below the CAN bus; it is separate from installing the public BluePilot branch. The demonstration does not establish a released installation kit or a supported 2025 F-150 setup.

Many Fords already have official openpilot entries, including the 2021–2023 F-150. You do not need to treat every Ford as an unsupported custom build. Check the car finder for the right year, package and connector, then compare software options.
