Is comma better than Mazda i-ACTIVSENSE / CTS?

What your factory system already does
Mazda’s 2025 Mazda3 manual describes CTS as supporting following and steering along detected lane lines. Newer models can have different CTS features, including lane-change assistance on an equipped 2026 CX-5.
What could make comma worth it
An older Mazda and a newer CTS-equipped model have different starting capabilities. Compare the actual steering speed range and monitoring behavior; do not treat the entire i-ACTIVSENSE umbrella as one lane-centering system.
What to check for your car
Use the exact Mazda configuration and steering limitations in comma’s car directory. The newer factory features described here do not establish compatibility for the latest Mazda models.
Does i-ACTIVSENSE always include CTS?
Do not assume that. It is an umbrella for multiple safety and assistance features. Check the equipment and manual for the exact car.
