Nissan’s original ProPILOT Assist helps with steering, speed and following in a single lane. Its newer numbered generations add different capabilities, so the badge alone is not enough for a comparison.
What could make comma worth it
For an original-system owner, compare routine lane centering and attention checks. For a car with ProPILOT Assist 2.0 or 2.1, hands-off operation is already part of the factory feature discussion.
What to check for your car
Match the exact Nissan year, package and car listing, including speed-control notes. A supported steering integration does not automatically mean openpilot takes over the accelerator and brakes.
Is every ProPILOT system hands-off?
