Is comma better than Toyota Safety Sense 4.0?
Begin with the features in your exact TSS 4.0 vehicle and a current comma compatibility check. An older Toyota comparison is not enough to establish that an aftermarket system will improve your new car.

What your factory system already does
Toyota’s current safety hub lists TSS 4.0 separately and describes radar cruise, Lane Tracing Assist and Proactive Driving Assist within that generation. Availability still depends on the vehicle.
What could make comma worth it
The reason to consider comma remains the experience you want: its driving software, attention-monitoring approach and open-source development. Whether those improve on your exact TSS 4.0 configuration needs a separate comparison. Results from older Toyota systems do not answer that question.
