What your factory system already does
Travel Assist combines lane centering and adaptive cruise under its operating conditions. Volkswagen requires hands on the wheel; its European T-Roc documentation gives an example of capacitive contact detection.
What could make comma worth it
The difference is camera-based attention monitoring versus the documented hands-on system. Do not tell an owner that every VW requires a nudge when their wheel can detect a resting hand.

Match the exact model year, platform and equipment. The newer Travel Assist examples describe factory functionality and do not establish comma support for the same vehicles.
Does comma simply unlock Travel Assist?
