Install Zoompilot on your comma

Start with the right car and branch. The main channel is the project’s release path; Jetlink has a separate experimental setup.

Before changing your software

Confirm your exact car, steering hardware and comma device in the official project guide. Project documentation covers comma 3X and comma four; that is not an exact-car compatibility guarantee.
Keep the car parked, with reliable device power and internet access.
Review backup and recovery options before removing software. The project recommends a clean installation for new users; a reset can remove local settings and data.
The project describes Zoompilot as experimental. Its experimental Mazda gas-and-brake control option has additional limits, including loss of stock radar-based automatic emergency braking.

Enter this only when the comma setup screen asks for a custom software address.

Install URLzoompilot/mainEnter this under Settings → Software → Custom Software on the comma device. Do not open it in a browser.

Check the current project instructions
Confirm the latest car requirements and release notes. Already using Zoompilot? The project directs existing users to the on-device updater.

Start custom software setup
For a new installation, follow the project’s clean-install procedure and the device’s on-screen instructions. Review any data-removal prompt before accepting it.

Enter the main address
Use zoompilot/main. Keep the device powered and connected while it downloads and finishes setup.

Review the installed settings
Confirm the software identity, car detection and on-screen setup. Read what each option changes before enabling it. A release channel does not make experimental options suitable for every car.

Main and Jetlink are different branches. Follow the Jetlink guide for external-compute requirements rather than assuming this address enables it.
